At Canyon Vista, recovery doesn’t end at discharge—it’s a lifelong journey. Our Alumni Program provides continued connection, support, and encouragement for those walking the path of healing. Through shared experiences, strength, and hope, we empower one another to grow, thrive, and improve the lives we touch every day.

We celebrate milestones, gather for alumni events, and stay present for one another — through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Whether you’re newly sober or years into recovery, you belong here.

Our alumni department wants to ensure that you have every opportunity to be successful and remain clean and sober. All Canyon Vista alumni are invited to the alumni program.

Recovery is not meant to be done alone. The top reason we encourage members to get involved in our program is the endless support offered by the hundreds of alumni members who are successfully maintaining sobriety. Let’s face it, no one understands an addict like another addict. - Network:
Throughout your program at Canyon Vista, you will meet the alumni coordinator who can help connect you to other alumni in the area. These alumni members can help be a support, take you to meetings, or connect you with recovery in your area. - Substance-Free Activities:
Once a month our Alumni coordinator hosts an event/activity for our alumni to enjoy their newfound sobriety, connect with other members, and have fun!

MEET OUR ALUMNI COORDINATOR
Rose Metheny
Rose brings both professional experience and personal understanding to her role, along with a deep passion for helping individuals find hope and connection in their recovery journey. As a woman in long-term recovery, she understands the challenges of addiction and the impact of underlying trauma, and is committed to encouraging others with authenticity, compassion, and strength.
At Canyon Vista, Rose focuses on building meaningful relationships with alumni, creating spaces for connection, and fostering a strong, supportive community. She believes no one is meant to walk this journey alone and is dedicated to helping each individual feel seen, valued, and empowered in their continued recovery.
Outside of work, Rose enjoys spending time with her family, writing, and meaningful conversations over coffee. She believes recovery opens the door to a life of purpose, growth, and renewed hope and is passionate about walking alongside others as they step into that life.
